Club competitions at Pad Thai Padel: Community Cup, NOX Challenger and more

Weekly Americanos and Mexicanos are the heartbeat of Pad Thai Padel Rama 4, but a few times a year the club turns into a proper tournament venue. Some of those events are built for the community, some are one-day open competitions with a partner brand, and some bring professional players to Bangkok. Each one has a different format and a different way in.

This guide covers the Community Cup, the NOX Challenger, DEUCE Competition Night by Open Rally and the club's exhibition and pro events, so that you know which one fits your level and how to enter. For the full calendar, the events page and The Padel Society app are always up to date.

The Community Cup is a team competition organised by The Padel Society and Pad Thai Padel, with Open Rally as partner. Instead of clubs or fixed pairs, the entrants are padel communities from the app, each fielding a squad across every level. The second edition takes place on Sunday 13 September 2026 at Pad Thai Padel, with 6 communities competing.

The format is level against level. Every community fields a squad at every level, Iron, Bronze, Silver and Gold, and each tie is played as men's, women's and mixed matches. A squad needs at least 2 men and 2 women per level. Before the day itself there are three steps.

• Sign up: players join a single player pool in the app, open to all 6 communities.
• Draft Day: each community has 2 captains, one female and one male, who draft their squad from the pool.
• Trade window: communities then have 72 hours to swap players with each other, same level only.

The first edition, on 23 May 2026, was a full day of community squads, played in a short format of first to 9 games with a golden point at every deuce. The second edition keeps the same spirit with a squad structure that guarantees every level and both genders a place on court.

In June 2026 the club announced its partnership with NOX, the padel equipment brand, and marked it with the first Pad Thai Padel NOX Challenger. As the club put it, "Our first Pad Thai Padel Nox Challenger, and the start of a new journey". Purra provided the drinks, and the event was described as the first edition of the NOX Challenger, powered by Purra.

The Challenger is the club's own open competition, a one-off tournament rather than a season-long league, and the natural step up for players who have enjoyed weekly formats and want a bracket with something on the line. NOX is now woven into the club itself, with "The heart of the club, powered by NOX", and the academy's competitive players train and travel under the same partnership.

For players who want tournament tension without giving up a whole weekend, DEUCE Competition Night by Open Rally is a regular evening competition on the weekly programme at Pad Thai Padel. It sits alongside the Americanos and Mexicanos in the app, with the same simple entry: sign up, turn up, play.

Open Rally is the club's tournament engine partner. It describes itself as a platform for racket sport tournaments across Southeast Asia where players "register, track, and compete". It publishes draws and results, filters events by level from Rookie through to Elite, and lists tournaments in Bangkok, Koh Samui and Koh Phangan. In practice that means brackets, schedules and scores for DEUCE nights and the Community Cup are handled in one place, and your results build a record you can follow across events.

Pad Thai Padel also hosts professional padel. In February 2025 the club welcomed the APPT Bangkok Open, the Asia Pacific Padel Tour's first Open-level tournament in Bangkok, with a sold-out draw and an international field, plus a Thai drag show on centre court and a Muay Thai display before the men's final. In January 2026 the Pad Thai Padel Grand Slam brought an international field to the club across professional and amateur categories.

These events run across pro and amateur draws, so a Silver or Gold pair from the weekly programme can enter the amateur categories and share the venue with touring professionals. Between tour stops, the weekly programme and the academy keep competitive players sharp.

• Community Cup: join a community in The Padel Society app, then sign up to the player pool when it opens. Captains draft from the pool, so you do not need a partner.
• NOX Challenger: entries open on the events page and in the app when an edition is announced; the listing states the format.
• DEUCE Competition Night: book your place in the app like any weekly event. Check the level range on the listing.
• APPT and exhibition events: pro and amateur draws are announced by the tour and the club; follow the club's Instagram and the events page for registration links.

Whatever the event, your level in the app matters. Play weekly formats, or book a Certified Level Assessment, so that organisers can place you in the right bracket. If you want match practice before a competition, the open matches board is the quickest way to find opponents.
